Principal Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the quality of our company products
- Contribute to test planning, test design, test documentation and reporting and test environment setup and configuration in our software projects
- Test execution and defect management in our software projects
- Ability to use common test tools (test management, automation, load testing)
- Cooperating with the test team on developing and refining the test process
- Knowledge and experience of different test levels, types, methodology and techniques
- Investigate new technologies, tools and ideas related to software testing with emphasis on company products related aspects

Specialist Skills:
- Having a broad view of new technologies in the mobile SW
- Experience in client/server and embedded systems testing
- Experience in testing wireless data applications
- Experience in testing smart phones platforms optimized for the Symbian OS

Required Qualifications:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field
- Creative, imaginative and proactive test professional relying on a strong theoretical knowledge of software testing
- Strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills and logical reasoning capabilities
- 2+ years software testing experience
- Experience with software testing of client/server and multi-tier applications development
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment (the testing team and the entire software project team)
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with software mobility use, testing or programming
- Experience in mobile phone testing
- Experience with Symbian environment

As a member of our server team your responsibilities range from design to implementation and testing while the main focus area is in server-side Java development. Distributed system architecture of SEVEN products offers a great deal of different possibilities to utilise your experience and to develop your skills in new fields of technology.

You have excellent Java skills and you have at least 3 years experience in software development along with experience in developing software for high availability server environments. Object and component oriented programming and design are natural tools in your work. You have experience in working with TCP/IP communication technologies and you understand capabilities and challenges with cryptography in open networks. Knowledge of databases and SQL would be an advantage as well as C++ skills.

You have a degree in computer science or equivalent, and are fluent both in English and Finnish. You are an innovative problem-solver and capable of grasping the essence of large, complicated entities and you love challenges. You also appreciate teamwork and a fun working environment.
