JOINING SMARTNER - WHAT´S IT ALL ABOUT?
Smartner's slogan, "Intelligence first", guides us in the growth of our organization. We prefer to select our new team members carefully. We also prefer to let go of inessential issues and concentrate on what's truly important - for us, that thing is Intelligence. This page intends to give you an overview of what you'll encounter by joining the Smartner team.
When people join Smartner, they are not pushed into a well-defined slot that they must fit in. Rather, we prefer to look for people with competencies that we need, and then tailor the slot to fit the individual. So, instead of telling you, "this is what you'll do", we'll ask you, "what interests you most?"
Once a new person has stepped aboard, we want to make sure that being a member of the Smartner team remains a pleasure. In order to ensure that, we keep asking ourselves what we appreciate. Some of the things that we have come to regard as important and worth promoting are efficient communication, continuous learning, life outside the office, sports and other recreational activities, and an enjoyable physical working environment.
We are not offering you a pink-colored wonderland with beautiful sunsets. The truth is that this is a hectic business environment, and a certain amount of initiative and independent thinking along with good communication skills are expected from everyone in the team. In return we will provide you with great learning opportunities in an enthusiastic working atmosphere. You'll also find that a tongue in cheek will come in handy - we laugh a lot and strongly believe there is a sense of humor floating around in our office.
