MODULTEK ANNOUNCES ATON TO INCLUDE MOBILE COMMUNICATION SERVICES POWERED BY SMARTNER AIRIS
Modultek has announced Aton to include Smartner's powerful Airis Messaging Server. Aton is Modultek's solution for product collaboration and configuration management in extended enterprise. Airis enables two-way SMS messaging between Aton and a cellular phone. With Airis, the Aton users won't be tied down to their desk as they can get the information they need with their cellular phone. Aton mobile users will be offered a new way to handle their tasks when Airis brings new mobile communication features to Aton and Modultek will offer this solution to its customers.
Modultek and Smartner operate at the lead edge of fast developing technologies where Internet and mobile communication are changing the way business is done. All information related to a product is managed by the Aton system. Aton enables continuous accumulation of customer-specific product data. Aton's focus on mobile communication with portable devices takes customers to the next step in information collaboration.
Airis Messaging Server is a flexible and powerful messaging engine that provides two-way communications with an unlimited number of different messaging networks and an easy agent-based messaging logic programming environment. Airis Messaging Server is used to build messaging connection with the existing host applications such as Aton. Modultek wanted to include new messaging-based services and applications to Aton and has chosen Smartner to do the job.
