RADIOLINJA EXPANDS ITS MOBILE OFFICE SOLUTION WITH SMARTNER’S APPLICATIONS

Finnish mobile operator Radiolinja offers enterprise customers a mobile office solution that enables access to companies own email and calendar systems with GSM and WAP phones or through a web interface. The solution was launched together with Radiolinja’s GPRS network.

The solution is offered as an enterprise installation or as the hosted service that is now launched. When Radiolinja takes care of the service maintenance, even small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can easily and securely get a mobile email and calendar.

The hosted service is developed in co-operation with Radiolinja and Smartner Information Systems Ltd, which specializes in operator-hosted mobile business solutions. The service is based on Smartner Email Extender and Calendar Extender products.

“Fast information flow is essential to every company. Enterprise information systems are used more efficiently, when they can be accessed anytime and from any location.
