SONG NETWORKS TO BRING SMARTNER’S ALWAYS-ON MAIL TO MOBILE CUSTOMERS
Smartner’s Always-On Mail enables customers with real-time access to Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes from their preferred standard mobile device
Helsinki, Finland – Song Networks, part of TDC group, and Smartner are cooperating to bring to Song Network’s mobile customers real time email and calendar to their smartphones and connected PDAs.
“The new service, based on Smartner’s Always-On Mail, will significantly improve the accessibility of Song’s enterprise customers as they will be connected to their Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes e-mail and calendar functions securely and in real time, no matter where they are”, says Pasi Mäki, Commercial Director at Song Networks Oy.
"Customers today are increasingly looking for mobile data solutions that increase the productivity of mobile workers in additional to the basic mobile phone services. Song Network’s offering of Always-On Mail will enable enterprise customers achieve that easily and cost-efficiently," says Paul Hedman, CEO of Smartner.
With the new service Song’s enterprise customers will be able to effectively utilise current information when on the road, for example in speeding up the decision making or in delegation of tasks. “Information flow between different parties will be faster and more effective by using a very familiar tool – a mobile phone”, says Mikko Elo, Manager, Business Operations, Residential Customers at Song.
