SMARTNER WINS TELENOR GROUP DEAL FOR MOBILE EMAIL
Telenor Group to offer the World’s Leading PUSH Email Solution for Standard Mobile Devices Worldwide
Helsinki, Finland and Oslo, Norway – Telenor, one of the world’s leading telecom operators, with mobile operating companies in over twelve countries worldwide, has selected Smartner as partner for push-based mobile email. Smartner’s Always-On Mail is a versatile solution that enables the deployment of mobile email and calendar on corporate level as well as for small businesses and personal usage - satisfying the needs of all customer groups for mobile email.
One of the key advantages of Always-On Mail is that it works seamlessly on any standard smartphone or connected PDA – giving the choice of the device to the user. Smartner has proven the usability of Always-On Mail on more than two-thirds of all smart devices shipping today including the Nokia series 60, series 80 and series 90, Sony Ericsson P900 and P910, Pocket PC, QTek as well as XDA devices.
Smartner Always-On Mail provides easy, real-time access to Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes or personal emails offering a secure access to email and calendar data. In addition, it enables viewing, editing and sending of native attachments.
